Settling In Sessions

Before your child starts at Tiny Seeds Preschool, we offer a minimum of three settling-in sessions. These sessions help your child become familiar with the preschool environment and begin building positive relationships with their allocated key worker, other team members, and children within the setting.

The sessions also support your child in becoming comfortable with spending short periods of time at preschool before gradually building up to a full session. During the first settling-in session, we ask that a parent or carer attends so that we can gather important information about your child and discuss how we can best support them.

We understand that every child is different, so we take a flexible approach and can arrange additional settling-in sessions where needed to help your child feel happy, secure, and confident in our setting.
